Mythics, Inc. Wins Multiple Partner of the Year Awards

I am pleased to announce Mythics, Inc. has been named the Oracle North American Value-Added Reseller and North American Public Sector Partner of the Year. These awards are part of the annual Oracle Linux Partner Summit for North America, which aims to acknowledge and honor partners for continued efforts to solve customer's business challenges.

Michael Gray, Oracle Sales Director, opened the Summit by welcoming all partners and thanking them for their continued contributions to Oracle's business. "Our Oracle Linux and Virtualization business continues to experience explosive growth, and that's really because of each one of you."

As part of the Summit, I shared a recent customer success story detailing a significant win over competitor IBM/Red Hat. Takeaways from my summary included the following:

  • Oracle can compete with IBM/RH for Linux Support
  • RHEL users should explore the benefits of Oracle Linux
  • Customers who make the switch from IBM Red Hat to Oracle are surprised how easy the transition is since there is no impact to the application and the switch takes only minutes
  • Oracle provides a robust feature set to improve security which is not available in other distributions
  • Oracle Linux offers a path to lower IT costs and improved security

Our team at Mythics has delivered some huge wins in the Federal space and some outstanding performances across State/Local, Commercial and Higher Education. We're considered trusted advisors to many in this space and delivered triple-digit growth in this sector of our business. The result was some great wins and great momentum as we move into this year.

Oracle's Linux Partner Summit honors commercial and public sector partners for successfully delivering innovative engagement and adoption solutions to customers. Honorees were recognized for outstanding performance in 2020 across several categories that span Oracle's Linux and Virtualization product offerings and continued dedication to delivering customer success.
